Movie Haiku:First film version of the story destined to become the Oscar-winning musical CHICAGO. It’s amazing to see how many elements were already in place. Rogers is cute as Roxie, but interest is mostly historical. With one big dance number choreographed by the great Hermes Pan, contextually ludicrous but still fun.
