Movie Haiku:The politics get murky by the end, but cinema’s never seen a better evocation of intellectuals sharing the life of the mind as well as the body. Diane Keaton embodies a woman embracing the sudden possibilities of the new century. Warren Beatty captures the inner turmoil of a genuine hero. Soundtrack (featuring one of Stephen Sodheim's only film scores) is also highly recommended.
