Movie Haiku:A fairly tale loosely based on Washington Irving’s story of colonial America. Stylized violence directed to an adult audience willing to suspend disbelief and enter a poetic dreamscape heavy with subconscious implication. Cinematography, visual design, and soundtrack all combine to create another utterly unique Tim Burton universe.
